Disturbing and not for the squeamish. Several bot flies are removed from a mans back.
Bot fly eggs can be found in the hairs of mosquitoes, although the fly itself can bite and deposit their eggs as well, if left untreated, the larvae would have grown and left huge craters when they depart from their hosts. These bot flies are very hard to remove, as seen in this video!
